Our Trainees
The challenge we face in combating the effects of FGM/C is simple: there aren’t enough trained surgeons to meet the growing demand for Clitoral Reconstruction Surgery (CRS). Central to our mission is training the next generation of skilled surgeons who will restore health, dignity, and hope to women around the world. Since 2022, we have trained about 25 physicians from all over the continent.
Clitoral Restoration Surgery Fellowship
In response to a critical gap in CRS knowledge and training, we are pioneering the creation of a comprehensive Global Clitoral Reconstruction Surgical Training Program. The Marci Foundation Clitoral Reconstruction Surgical Fellowship is a one-year, paid post-graduate training program designed for physicians worldwide who wish to incorporate Clitoral Reconstruction Surgery (CRS) into their current or future surgical practices. This fellowship offers an opportunity for hands-on training, cross-cultural engagement, and involvement in groundbreaking research. Applications for this fellowship are expected to be open Winter 2025. Please check back for updates.
